A dryad is a tree nymph or spirit in Greek mythology. Drys signifies "oak" in Greek, and dryads are specifically the nymphs of oak trees. They're known for their sage like memory and knowledge of the forest. Place one of our Backflow Incense Cones on the top of the old oak and observe the smoke trickle from the tree's mouth down the giant fungi tops onto the ground below. Cast in high-quality resin before being carefully hand-painted, this piece is perfect for any enchanting collection.
For best effects burn indoors in an area away from any sudden air movements. Please note that after burning it is normal for a light oily residue to appear on the oil burner, for this reason we recommend protecting any furniture it is placed upon suitably. The residue can be easily wiped off the burner with a damp cloth. Please exercise caution when burning incense. Only backflow incense cones should be used with this product – standard incense cones will not create the desired effect. It is normal for cones to take up to 10 minutes after being lit to start creating the smoking/mist effect. See more in ourBackflow Incense Cones and Burners collection.

Please note:Do not leave incense burning while unattended and do so in a well-ventilated area. Please also keep it away from your pets and small children, and burn near an open window or in a separate room. Animals, especially dogs have a much more sensitive sense of smell than humans, and the scent of aromatherapy products like incense can bother them. In addition, keep any incense out of your pet's reach so they don't accidentally ingest it.
