The Ladybird Book of The Hipster
The famous British children's publisher Ladybird, who sought to teach children about nuclear power, space travel and history, are now helping cynical adults make sense of modern life.
The Ladybird Book of The Hipster is part of this series. Ladybird said its “kidult” range is intended to “enable grown-ups to think they have taught themselves to cope” and features original Ladybird artwork alongside brilliantly funny, brand new text. This hilarious 56 page hardback book pokes fun at the hipster, providing funny scenarios that I'm sure most of us will relate to. One passage states:
"This is a hipster. He is childless, unaccountably wealthy, and always well turned out. He likes art, porridge, scarves, anything reclaimed from French factories, like this dog rack."
