Guatemalan Worry Doll - Family
According to a legend told by the Indians high in the hills of Guatemala, when you have worries, you should share them with your dolls. Before you go to sleep, tell a worry to your doll, place it under your pillow at night and by morning, the worry people will carry away your worries. This little doll is specifically for all those family worries that you have.
These dolls have been handmade by the Maya Indians in the highlands of Guatemala. They make their living from agriculture in the rural areas of the country and are often dependant on alternative forms of income.
Because each doll is handmade, colours and design of the doll may vary from the photograph.
