Covid-19 Delivery Statement

Hello,

Just a quick update for our international customers. Unfortunately, because Royal Mail have suspended international services in our Click and Drop account, we are having to use couriers which is a lot more expensive. We could completely suspend international services for the time being, but to give you the option we have decided to keep the store open to you, but with an increased postage cost. We hate doing this, but at the moment it is costing double to send to countries outside of the UK and we can't afford to absorb the costs. Hopefully this won't be for long.

I hope you're all keeping well, just thought I'd update you on what's happening over here. Our business parcel collections start next week, and our collection days will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Orders will be dispatched via the Royal Mail Tracked 48 service (delivery aim is 2-3 working days in normal circumstances) and collected on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, any orders received after 12pm on those days will be collected on the next collection day. Collections do not take place on Bank Holidays, so no collection on Friday 8th May. With heavier or larger parcels we will still use a courier such as UPS, DX or Hermes. At the moment there are huge backlogs with Royal Mail and other couriers, so please please please be patient. The good news with this tracked service, is that you can see exactly where your parcel is and a rough time of arrival. We can also specify safe places for your parcels now, so please make use of the box at checkout if you're going to be out. You can read more information on our delivery service here.

Just another update to our statement below. Our local post office is now re-opening on Monday 27th April (yayyyy!!), and we are much closer to having our Royal Mail business collections set up; we're just waiting for the start date. So, things should be going back to normal for us where delivery is concerned. Thank you so much for your patience, look after yourselves and stay safe.

Just a little update to our statement below. Our local post office has now closed, but we are in the process of setting up Royal Mail business collections, which should be finalised in the next couple of weeks. They are very busy at the moment, so we have to be very patient with them. I am now going to be mainly relying on courier collections, so if you could be patient with me, that would be wonderful. It also means that the delivery time may be increased to try and keep costs low. Most of the time couriers collect when they say they will, but again, they are very busy, so collections may be delayed by a day or two.

Hello,

After the UK government's shutdown announcement, I've been asked if orders are still going out. The answer is yes, most definitely!

Royal Mail have issued the following statement: "Royal Mail remains open for business. The postal service is a key part of the UK’s infrastructure. The delivery of parcels and letters is a way of keeping the country together, businesses operating, and helping many people who may not have the option to leave their homes. We continue to work hard to collect, process and deliver as much mail and parcels as possible in difficult circumstances."

I have a sweet deal with my local amazing post office and now; especially now, I am even more thankful for that. Because I send so many parcels, we drop our bags with them and they scan them when they have a minute. This means I am in and out of the post office in a matter of minutes, with little to no contact with anyone, even in their busier periods.

Generally, I send orders out on the day they are received or the next day for evening orders (I even go on Saturdays and Sundays if I'm able to), but things will now have to change slightly. I am now only planning on going to the Post Office once a day for 3 days a week, rather than 5 (and often 7) days. Because of this and to ensure your service isn't disrupted, all parcels that don't go out same day will be upgraded to 1st Class at no extra cost to you.

Please bear with me during this time, I'm working on my own therefore no equipment is shared, I'm wearing gloves and sanitary procedures are carried out at frequent intervals.
