HowCurious? Ltd is run by Sophie and her husband Dave in the West Midlands. In 2017 Sophie left her design and marketing job and Alunah; her busy touring and recording band of 11 years, in order to concentrate on and go full time with HowCurious? Ltd. With over 20 years of marketing, graphic and web design experience; and a lifetime of buying unusual gifts for her family and friends, it was only a matter of time.

We have absolutely wonderful customers with curious minds. Our interest in the mystical, magickal, gothic, spooky and cult film culture has bought us all together, and for that reason I feel so lucky. I love buying unique items for our home and unusual gifts for our loved ones, but always spend hours trying to hunt them down. So, our aim was to bring together all those wonderful items, and make some new curious friends.

I understand that a lot of people feel safer shopping with bigger companies, but our excellent Trustpilot reviews and customer photos on Instagram show that we're just as worthy. Customer service is our primary focus, we never leave you hanging too long for an email reply, and 100% of our queries are dealt with quickly and with our customers in mind.

Nature is hugely important to us, as is the environmental impact that our business has. We rely on packaging and deliveries, and although we use recycled materials where we can, we often feel like we could do more. We are very happy to now be planting a tree for every sale in our Ecologi Forest and we are also a climate positive workforce. As well as the trees planted through sales, by signing up to be climate positive, 24 trees are planted and 1.8 tonnes of CO2 is reduced per month. We're a small business, so this isn't huge but it's a start, and you help us do this, so thank you! Read more about our Environmental Policy. Our animals Shelby, Olive and Purdy thank you too, for helping us to keep them in treats. It is so important to support small businesses and we can't thank you enough.
